INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION ON ZOOLOGICAL NOMENCLATURE
Vacancy for Scientific Administrator
The Secretariat of the International Commission on Zoological
Nomenclature, based at the Natural History Museum, invites applications
to join the Secretariat. The job involves the analysis of nomenclatural
problems submitted by zoologists and the preparation of a zoological
journal, together with administrative and financial duties. A
qualification in zoology or palaeontology would therefore be an
advantage.
The post, either on a part-time or full-time basis, could be of interest
to a member of the Museum's staff recently retired, approaching
retirement or wishing to widen his or her experience, or to a zoologist
who has been on short-term appointment.
Anybody interested in further details, should contact the Commission's
Executive Secretary, Dr Andrew Polaszek (e-mail: iczn-ap at nhm.ac.uk).
Please mention the advert in the TABDP network.
