<strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Deadline Extension:</span></strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> The deadline to submit abstracts for contributed oral, speed, poster, thematic poster,
and student award presentations for <a href="http://CONBIO.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT00MDM0MjQyJnA9MSZ1PTc3ODQ3MTU3NiZsaT0yNDY5NTI1OQ/index.html" target="_blank">
ICCB-ECCB 2015</a> has been extended by one week. The new deadline is <strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">6 February 2015</span></strong>. Visit the <a href="http://CONBIO.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT00MDM0MjQyJnA9MSZ1PTc3ODQ3MTU3NiZsaT0yNDY5NTI2MA/index.html" target="_blank">Call
for Abstracts</a> page for instructions and to access the abstract management system. We've already received a tremendous number of abstract submissions. The extension is due to numerous requests received by the Scientific Committee to grant more time to submit

<strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Student Awards:</span></strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> Students presenting at ICCB-ECCB are encouraged to enter the Student Awards Competition for
the chance to win awards for Best Oral Presentations. Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Ph.D. candidates and recent Ph.D.'s (received after 2 August 2014) are eligible to apply. To apply students indicate their desire to enter the competition
when they <a href="http://CONBIO.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT00MDM0MjQyJnA9MSZ1PTc3ODQ3MTU3NiZsaT0yNDY5NTI2MQ/index.html" target="_blank">
submit their abstracts</a> for contributed presentations. Students whose abstracts are accepted for the scientific program will receive an invitation to submit an extended abstract so that participants can be fairly judged. Learn more about the Student Awards

awards to help offset costs of attendance for the following delegates: students, residents of developing countries, residents of EU countries that have accessed or are currently accessing the European Stability Mechanism, and organizers of pre-congress training
sessions.</span><span style="font-family:"Helvetica","sans-serif""> <o:p></o:p></span></li></ol>
<p style="margin-left:36.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Individual reimbursement awards will vary between $500 and $1,000 USD. The online application will open next week and remain open through 27 February. More details will be available soon on the
