This is the email list for an informal, interdisciplinary network of academic researchers, postgraduate research students and heritage professionals whose work in any way involves the study of freemasonry; currently 175 subscribers.
List subscribers are based in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Finland, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Spain, Syria, Sweden, UK, USA, and the West Indies, and represent a wide range of academic disciplines spanning the whole period from the Middle Ages to the present day: Archives, Art, Architecture, Biography, Bibliography, Design, Film, Gender, History, Indigenous Studies, Law, Libraries, Literature, Maritime Studies, Medical History, Military History, Museums & Galleries, Music, Philosophy, Politics, Religion, History of Sciences, Sociology, Theology
The list is run as an independent, autonomous, volunteer enterprise,with no formal alliances or allegiances to any scholarly organisation, masonic body, or educational institution -- although we are grateful to UCL for hosting our discussions -- and no favouritism toward any critical, historical, political, social, or theoretical position should be imputed to the management of the [freemasonry] list.
